Anyone Care?Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:28 AM
Blah. I'm waiting for green day rock bandTuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:28 AM
A couple tracks have already featured in previous Guitar Hero Games which isn't great but still some good songs =)Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:33 AM
Where's the Fightstar or Bayside god dam it!Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:33 AM
Do people actually buy these track packs?Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:34 AM
I don't think anyone cares. I certainly don't. Music genre for gaming needs to shake thing up cause it's turning into a dying fad.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:38 AM
Aren't these songs already available for RB? Why do they release songs for both? Most people that are fans enough to buy DLC have both games I'd assume.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:39 AM
aerosmith...not bad...not bad at allTuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:40 AM
Wow this is just... Beyond horrible. Plus, let's see, Guitar Hero Aerosmith came out like 2 or 3 years ago. No one cares enough about Aerosmith to get these again if they bought that game.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:45 AM
The only song I may consider getting is "Sweet Home Alabama"Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:46 AM
As other have said, "weren't half of these songs in other GH games?" I'll stick to Rock Band thank you very much. You're NEVER getting my money again Activision....Unless you change like EA has(kinda)Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:47 AM
I don't even have Guitar Hero 5, but the only song I really want out of that is You're All I Have by Snow Patrol. I would be interested in the Aerosmith songs, but they're already in Guitar Hero Aerosmith. I usually play vocals, but I hate how Guitar Hero's Vocals are set up, I prefer Rock Band's.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 11:56 AM
I'm gettin tired of these games... the only reason I play them is cause I'm good at em' and because it's easy achievements... I expect to see a new angle for the new music gamesTuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 12:07 PM
Pathetic!!!Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 12:43 PM
@4- Fightstar would be amazing! These tracks are horrible.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 12:44 PM
Actually I will probably buy the Aerosmith pack being a huge Aerofan.. and more than likely grab Sweet Home Alabama as well. Just because the songs aren't your cup of tea doesn't mean they are trash. I for one think these are the best releases they've had in a LONG time.. I'm tired of all the emo crap they try to pass off as rock. Different generations I guess..Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 12:48 PM
Another useless unnecessary comment similar to all the above.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 12:54 PM
Do people still play guitar hero? Rock Band is so much better. And has way more/better songs.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 12:59 PM
Rock Band owns Guitar Hero. Rock Band 3 could possibly drive Activision out of this genre completely. Regarding the DLC, I might get Sweet Home Alabama but to heck with the rest of it.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 01:21 PM
Aren't those Aerosmith songs in than actual game for them? If so, go ahead and pay a bit more and you get a lot more songs instead, much better value. Just won't get vocals or drums. Same with Juke Box Hero, it was downloadable for GH3, and if you really wanted drums and vocals you can get it on Rock Band too. I really wish they would step up their DLC and setlists, Rock Band and Guitar Hero need to compete otherwise they'll get lazy, half-arsed tracks together instead.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 01:27 PM
First and last weeks are not that bad...but nothing downright amazing.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 01:36 PM
Got the Black Sabbath pack when it came out....these don't look too interesting though.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 01:51 PM
I'm with #22 on this. I got Sabbath because I can never have enough, but aside from that 2010 has gone without me purchasing a single GH track. RB gets all my music money now. GH needs to step it up or step down.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 02:21 PM
you could find GH Aerosmith for the same price as this Aerosmith DLC :PTuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 02:36 PM
All but 2 songs i already own weather it be on Guitar Hero or Rock Band epic fail GH5.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 03:03 PM
I am envious about Aerosmith. Not being a big fan, it'd be an improvement from all the crap we've been getting on RB. I am really envious about Black Sabbath from a few days back. Come on, Network! Release some songs to save the day!Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 03:18 PM
Oh look. More Aerosmith even though it's the same songs that were on GH: Aerosmith! Also, @24 that's the best point made and probably true!Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 03:47 PM
Did anyone notice that the dates change to tuesday right after the Classic Rock track pack?Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 03:59 PM
WHY DO THEY KEEP RELEASING SONGS AS DLC THAT WERE ALREADY ON PREVIOUS GUITAR HEROES!?!?Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 04:05 PM
@29 Its gay that you have to pay for them as well. I payed for Free Bird as DLC when it came out because i love that song even though i already had it on GH2.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 04:15 PM
@29 I AGREE!!! WTF!!!Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 04:21 PM
@#28 Yes there changing to tuesday because they did thursdays before because ps3 only updates on thursday now ps3 updates on tuesdays as of today so there moving to tuesday now.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 04:31 PM
Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa Frank Zappa... Except bring it to RB2 because i don't own GH5.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 05:14 PM
Pretty sure Guitar Hero Aerosmith itself is cheaper than that track pack (depending on certain retail stores). Also, ROFLMAO at Juke Box Hero showing up in 2 Classic Rock Track Packs.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 05:47 PM
Seriously, this DLC is a real shame. First off, Aerosmith track pack? Those 3 tracks cost as much as the freaking game itself. And they're all in that game. Second, sweet home alabama and juke box hero were already in past guitar heros. I don't blame you if you want to update those songs to play on a better engine, but wow... its sad.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 06:21 PM
More skynyrd! one of these games has to put their greatest hits album on here. bring us some asking alexandria too.Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 06:38 PM
i want aerosmith + more skynyrd in rockband so badddTuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 08:19 PM
I love guitar hero, I find the ganeplay wayyy better than rockband, but come on, why not something good Anberlin, Yellowcard, Hoobastank, Jimmy eat world?Tuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 08:37 PM
aerosmith already had their own gay little game so fuck off with the extra aerosmith songsTuesday, May 04, 2010 @ 10:15 PM
My care meter is at 0 right nowWednesday, May 05, 2010 @ 03:38 AM
Rag Doll, Livin' on the Edge and Love in an elevator were my favorite songs in GH:A (with Mercy = ) ). Glad I'll be able to play them in GH5, with my friends. And seriously, stop spitting on Guitar Hero Aerosmith. Its content was wayyyy more interesting that RB Green Day. Now, I'm waiting for the next metal pack.

Music, music, music. More specifically, rock music. This marvellous month of May, expect to see three new track packs for Guitar Hero 5.
Covering several colours in the rock rainbow, (green, indigo and blue, probably) we're first given the Classic Rock 3 Track Pack with Steve Miller Band singing Activision's theme song "Take the Money and Run" (ooh, satire!), alongside some Foreigner. And of course, no Classic Rock track pack would be complete without ubiquitous Guitar Hero mainstay Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Elsewhere, you can grab some Alt Pop rock tracks from Alpha Rev, Snow Patrol and Capra.
Finally, rock legends Aerosmith get a new track pack featuring three of their classic screechy rock songs. Enjoy!
Each track pack will be available for 440MS Points (or 160MSP per song).
Classic Rock 3 Track Pack, available May 6th
Alternative Pop Track Pack, available May 11th
Aerosmith Track Pack, available May 18th
