True Crime: Hong Kong's new website reveals the game's TV and Hollywood voice talent, who will be contributing in bringing United Front Games' seedy Triad underworld - in which undercover detective Wei Shen finds himself embroiled - to life.

Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins, Michael Clayton) will join James Hong (Big Trouble in Little China, Blade Runner) James Hiao (24, Prison Break), Byron Mann (Street Fighter, Crying Freeman), Dustin Nguyen (Rapid Fire, 3 Ninjas Kick Back), George Cheung (The Pursuit of Happyness, Starsky and Hutch) and kung-fu legend Sammo Hung (Martial Law, Skinny Tiger and Fatty Dragon) on True Crime's roster of voice over talent.

There's still further voice-actors to be revealed, so keep an eye on the True Crime website for more news and info on the forthcoming rebooted open-world action franchise.

  • ok i don't know what this game is but i gotta try it just once for sammo! plus tom wilkinson is awsome! james hong and dustin nguyen are good too. but i feel for byron mann. those 2 movies listed are not good, lol. i own crying freeman and its not something i am proud of. :)
  • I wonder if the game will match the talent. The other two sucked.
  • @1 Well shut up then muppet, pretty decent line up for a game!
  • Looks kinda stupid.
  • It would be a bad thing if this was the selling point of the game....
  • I played True Crime: Streets of LA on the PS2, it was ambitious but it didn't really deliver imo. Hopefully this one will be a lot better.
  • i quite liked true crime new york (gasp!) so will probably get this
  • @2: No, only New York City sucked. It was a buggy/glitchy mess. Streets of LA kicked ass though.
  • #9. Exactly. LA was awesome, NY was garbage. Also, this cast is great!
  • Streets of LA was one of my favorite original Xbox games ever. Never played New York City though. probably a good thing considering what everyone here has said about it. Really looking forward to playing this one.
  • The past 2 sucked balls, and im a whore for sandbox games so it takes a real stinker to turn me off. The second one would have been good IF they hadnt left it with so many glitches, my personal fave was the one that randomly made it so dark you couldnt see a fucking thing, real helpful. My hopes are pretty low for this, but ill keep an eye on it anyway as its a sandbox.
  • first = good second = shit, the only good thing about it was the unstable arsonists XD man they were a laugh lol
  • sammo ftw...wait did he really do something called skinny tiger and fatty dragon? lol actually i dont know if we need another one of these games. the first one was ok but with stranglehold and the dead to rights series i think another true crime would be pointless.
  • Sammo! :D
  • @13: Come, now. Surely the vegetarians' hold-up counts, too? I didn't really play LA, but I saw that NYC was glitchy and uninspired. Hopefully, the third time will be a charm.
  • @14 Yes, he did. I have it on DVD from the sadly deleted Hong Kong Legends range. It's pretty damn good. The first True Crime was a bit mediocre. OK, but nothing special. Never played the second, as I heard it was riddled with game-breaking bugs. This one looks good so far, although I've not seen too much footage yet.
  • Tom Wilkinson??!! What in tarnation?? The man's a legend! What a welcome surprise it is to see him involved. Should be a fun game!
  • I played both LA and NYC. Gotta say, I really wasn't impressed with either of them. LA started out quite well but just never lived up to what it was trying for. Once I worked out NYC was suffering from the same issues, I only played it to the end of the story because I don't like leaving games unfinished ... I'll be waiting for the reviews of this game before I give it any more thoughts, although Sammo is a tempting voice actor ...
  • not quite the odst talent but nevermind, hopefully it'll be a good game.
