Previously an unplayable character in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, Makoto will be introduced in playable form for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift as DLC.
Makoto, the scantily-clad, weird, squirrel-tailed lass is an aggressive fighter with a short reach but incredible speed. As such, she's great at close-range and therefore suitable for offensive, rush fighters.
She also has devastating special attacks and an 'Impact' move that can be charged to follow up with a flurry of even more powerful strikes.
In addition to Makoto, the DLC will also come with an extra tutorial for Tutorial Mode and specific challenges for Challenge Mode. 'Unlimited' character data (an alter-ego with slightly tweaked gameplay and attack effects) as well as extra costume colours is also bundled in the DLC pack, alongside new "achievement data", whatever that means.
The Makoto DLC will be available for Europe in October 2010 at the same time BlazBlue: Continuum Shift ships.
