After a successful first 'beta' season that saw more than 114,000 people participate on Xbox Live simultaneously, setting a Guinness World Record in the process, interactive quiz show 1 vs 100 has come to an end after just two seasons.
"When we started on this journey, we knew we were creating an entirely new genre of entertainment that would be a continually evolving concept," said Dave McCarthy, General Manager at Microsoft Game Studios. "We're very proud of the '1 vs 100' team and their accomplishments, and are excited to apply what we've learned to future programming."
So, that's all she wrote, with the second season having commenced back in November 2009 and ended mid-February 2010. And no more opportunities to nab prizes and Microsoft Points over Xbox Live. Fare thee well, 1 vs 100! Happy trails.
