Rather than update the Alan Wake: The Signal DLC post a bajillion times with all of today's other marketplace updates, I thought it would be rude not to start a new post... after all, there are a few more of note on this busy, busy Tuesday.
The big news of the day - aside from The Signal - is that Madden's yearly demo is now available for download via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Featuring the Jets and the Colts, this year's Madden demo allows you to recreate the 2009 season AFC Championship game from the comfort of your own couch. Give it a download, but be sure to come back and let us know what you think.
In other Marketplace news, Transformers: War For Cybertron today receives its first piece of DLC since its June release. The "Map and Character Pack #1" not only brings you 4 multiplayer maps for your 800 Microsoft Points, but also 5 new characters (3 of which were previously pre-order exclusives): Scattershot, Onslaught, Demolishor, Shockwave and Jazz. Queue it up here.
And finally, Capcom's post launch support of Lost Planet 2 continues with today's release of the "Rush Arena" for 240 Microsoft Points. Rush Arena lets you and your buddies team up to fight all the bosses that appear in the main campaign, from the salamander-like Gordiant and the mysterious Akrid X, right up to the final boss. Queue up the Rush Arena DLC here.
I mentioned it in The Signal's news post, but I'll mention it again here as well...
Skate 3's "After Dark Pack" is also available today for 400 Microsoft Points, or according to commenter, TR3NCHED, free if you bought the game new and used the "Skate Share Pack" code - essentially the game's Project Ten Dollar. Queue that up here.
Happy downloading folks!
