Not to be confused with Cabela's North American Adventures, Activision recently announced that Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 will be in stores in late fall.... yes, around the same time as the aforementioned Cabela title.
Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 will not only put more emphasis on story, with "renowned scriptwriter and creative director Brad Santos" on board to pen the script, but with the "Top Shot Elite" peripheral - a wireless gun controller - it will allow a much more unique experience... or so we're told.
The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the title will not only come with the Top Shot Elite peripheral, but also with a sensor bar and a high-sensitivity camera, meaning it's like Duck Hunt all over again, but with Tigers and Wolves. I wonder whether there'll be a snickering dog...
With its pump action reload, adjustable stock and its scope, players will be able to expose hidden animal tracks and blood trails, looking to unleash the inner John Locke.
According to the press release, the game also ships with "next-generation shooting galleries featuring hot-seat, multi-stage and head-to-head multiplayer options – perfect for playing with the Top Shot Elite."
We've added a handful of new screens into the gallery here and you can find the debut teaser trailer - and a picture of the Top Shop Elite - below.
Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 is out "late fall" 2010.
