@1 I am pretty sure that all the ones that are released before the europe release are included. Though I have no info to back me up that's what I think.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:18 AM
So much DLC coming out for it and they can't be bothered to get off their arse and release it in Europe any earlier? Goddamn getting fed up of American companies these days.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:24 AM
Well at least I have something to look forward to when my fan edition comes in october.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:39 AM
@4 Aksys is based in Japan.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:41 AM
@6 Arc System Works is based in Japan, Aksys Games is based in America.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:58 AM
@7 Proving yet again how often I'm wrong.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 06:09 AM
@4 If by that you mean the publisher then zen united is the publisher for europe which is why we get it later.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 06:26 AM
awesome hope they add more too..Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 06:31 AM

I'm glad to see some dlc characters. I was hoping sf4 was going to do the same until they released ssf4Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 11:02 AM
Yaaaay more blazblue DLC ^^!Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 12:27 PM
Makoto is so expensive. I don't have the game yet, but I am hoping they make some discounted collection of the 3 DLC characters (last one is Platinum) by the time I get it. I just got Calamity Trigger at the start of the month and I am finishing up the achievements. @#4 - "So much"? All we've gotten is Makoto and stuff that's already on the disc, for the most part. It looks like a lot, but it really isn't, and Makoto is the only actually relevant piece so far. Not to mention, America has NOTHING to do with why Europe doesn't have it. Whatever company is publishing it in Europe is the company that's holding it back. Or if Arc System Works in Japan was like "NOT YET" to them. I am so sick of when people blame America or get mad at America for when things don't come to Europe sooner than later, when it isn't our choice. America doesn't decide when YOU get the game.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 01:00 PM
I want to play as Jubei already!Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 04:05 PM
@#15 I really hope that there will be a Jubei DLC. He is too awesome to ignore. :D I need a Fighting Stick until Continuum Shift is coming out in europe.Wednesday, August 11, 2010 @ 04:29 PM
when it out in uk ?Thursday, August 12, 2010 @ 04:55 AM
hahaha again #14 is right on the hammer last time I checked the companies in different regions have nothing to do with when a game is released its the head of the opperation not the entire organization. Still I'd be a little dissapointed if Trinity was the 3rd character shes still shrouded in so much mystery it seems pointless to put her into a "Makoto type DLC" she. . .s needs a story to go along with the character!!! I definatlly think Jubei would be a good pick seeing as hes been in both games so far, or even TorakakaSaturday, August 14, 2010 @ 09:08 AM
@14 I totally agree with you. The other thing is that, while the DLC is 560 points a pop (6 or 7 bucks), the actual game itself is discounted (second day of release i got for $45) so I suppose three DLC characters makes the price of the game "normal" at around $60.Saturday, August 14, 2010 @ 01:35 PM
I hope the put some kind of 3 character DLC all ready :( I'm pretty sure Valkenhym and Platinum are next :P I wouldn't mind waiting a month for a DLC pack like that :|Saturday, August 14, 2010 @ 09:11 PM
@18 The 3rd character is going to be Platinum. If you played the story he/she talks with ragna after you beat Taokaka in the restaraunt, but constantly refers to "themselves" as Luna and Sena... Platinum is with out a doubt the last dlc b/c Hakumen confronted her about her nox nytores and she is already been seen on other sites confirming this, however I doubt we'll get confirmation from them until she is actually released.Thursday, August 19, 2010 @ 11:31 AM
that is freaking awesome. can't wait for it.Monday, August 30, 2010 @ 09:21 AM
God i want this game when it comes out.Saturday, December 04, 2010 @ 11:16 PM
UPDATE: December 7th is the release of Valkenhayn, stated by Aksys
Tuesday, August 10, 2010
During its 'BlazBlue Streaming' event in Tokyo, developer Arc System Works announced the second downloadable character for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, which has already had Makoto as its first DLC pugilist. In fact, the event itself was held to celebrate the release of the Makoto DLC for the 2D fighter.
BlazBlue Producer Mori Toshimichi made the announcement during the event, as reported by Famitsu.com and declared that there will be more downloadable characters to follow Makoto, the first of which will be Rachel's butler, Valkenhayn R Hellsing.
There was no mention of price or dates and whether the character will be made available outside of Japan, but if it's anything like the Makoto DLC, expect it to arrive in the US in the near future and in Europe when the game launches in October 2010, and expect it to cost 560 Microsoft Points.
