Autobots, transform and roll out!Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 04:54 AM
Don't see how this will sell well with all the other great titles coming out and Skate 3 which came out a couple months before... But anyways lol Shaun White "Skateboarding" lolTuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 04:58 AM
Casual gamer might get a fun of it but as a skater nothing comes over any skate. game.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:15 AM
Is that a joke?Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:18 AM
@4 I think this whole game is.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:27 AM
I want to like it, but not holding my breath.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:32 AM
The idea is great, but Ive just got that niggling feeling in the back of my head that the Skate devs (Black Box) would pull it off so much better Also the actual skater in that vid looks horrible, the graphics for the skater looks it should belong on ps2 =PTuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:35 AM
looks cool, ill buy it!Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:43 AM
falling over invisible ramps and not knowing what you are skating sounds terrible to meTuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 05:46 AM

I will not get this lol xP looks to bad :/Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 06:53 AM
what a dumb idea.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 08:10 AM
@13 How can you say its a dumb idea, when you've never tried it. Looks interesting - one to keep an eye on for sure.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 09:52 AM
@14 because I think the idea looks dumb that's all. If they want to be creative you have to change skating games, like "Skate" did with them. Not just make things look pretty when doing tricks. and by the looks of it, you can only play as Shaun White? sorry to offend you though man :)Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 09:57 AM
lol, i clciked this just to see how many posts it took for someone to say it doesnt compare to skate. Atleast it wasnt the first one :DTuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 10:08 AM
saw this at E3 and thought it looked poor and still do lolTuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 10:22 AM
I played this at E3, I'll admit that this trailer doesn't give the game any justice but the best way to describe this game is that I felt like I was playing Tony Hawk 2, which was the last real fun Tony Hawk game. Ubisoft is obviously not trying to go for realism like Skate, they are going for fun, and frankly the market could use some unadulterated skateboarding fun.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 10:52 AM
I'm not comparing it to skate btw. just saying skate was something fresh. I've not even played a skate game. only a Demo. this trailer looks rubbish though, just seems like a pointless game. but who knows I guess it could suprise and turn out to be fun.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 01:24 PM
yeah this game is defineately a horrible rental if that. and i feel sorry if anyone is actually willing to pay $60 for something like this, i think you should take a step back for a second and actually try to grasp what you are doing.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 02:53 PM
@20 - with a gamerscore of 139k, I dont think you can tell us what we should and shouldnt buy.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 04:02 PM
@ #16 I haven't played a skating game in a long time. I just wanted to make a quick joke.Tuesday, August 10, 2010 @ 10:30 PM
Well I thought it looked like a lot of fun, but not for long periods of time. It's a good idea but something tells me that this game will become absolutely ridiculous near the end.Wednesday, August 11, 2010 @ 02:11 AM
Tony Hawks underground will always be the best skateboarding game.

Shaun White's already had his own snowboarding game, but now he's also getting his own skateboarding title too, which lets you play as Shaun and use the power of skate to transform a drab, corporate, conformist city into a colourful paradise, brimming with life, nature and all that good stuff. Oh, and it's called Shaun White Skateboarding, by the way.
Skating around in SW Skateboarding causes certain parts of the street to erupt into makeshift ramps and grinding enables you to sketch rails in mid air, creating some crazy, zig-zagging grinds up on high. You can also skate parts of the environment to trigger specific events, which can be something simple like draining a fountain to expose a hidden half-pipe bowl.
It's all in the new video, which shows a bit of live-action Shaun White doing his skate thing first, before showing off the game's funky transformation feature. Shaun White Skateboarding is due for a fall 2010 release.
