FIFA 11 will offer true 11 v 11 Teamplay online, including support for goalies for the first time in the series' history. FIFA 11 really is all about the '11' it seems. Though how the game will determine who ends up with the short straw and gets dumped in goal is uncertain.
Still, if goalkeeping in FIFA sounds appealing, you may be excited to learn that EA Sports Canada is introducing a new 'Be A Goalkeeper' mode, which incorporates new goalie controls and enables you to play through 15 seasons of football while standing, freezing your plums off in a goal mouth, if you're so inclined.
If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, there's still the aforementioned 11 v 11 online multiplayer to enjoy, as well as a 15 season Career mode, which encapsulates managerial aspects and more.
EA Sports Canada has also confirmed a FIFA 11 demo for September 16th, 2010, a few weeks before the game launches in the US on September 28th, 2010 and the UK and European release follows on October 1st, 2010.
