Saw 2: Flesh and Blood
Saw II: Flesh & Blood Bringing Torture to Gamers This October
Written By
View author's profile

Apparently, the Saw movies are a bit popular. For some reason, people get a kick out of seeing a fella sliced up by rusty barb wire, spiked in the face or sawing his own leg off. That's why Saw VII is coming to cinemas in October, and Zombie Studios' video game sequel will launch around the same time as the movie.

Seeing you play as the estranged son of the first game's Detective Tapp, Saw II will feature more fiendish traps, puzzles and horrific new tortures, while bridging the gap between the first two movies.

Make sure you prepare your stomach for plenty of blood and viscera when Saw II: Flesh & Blood launches on October 19th, 2010.

Funny, I just beat the first Saw and was starting to wonder when the sequel would be coming. Thanks for being a bunch of telepaths.

@2 It was someone crappy at times (repetitive, glitchy) but it wasn't the worst thing I've ever played. I'd say pick it up for an easy 1000, I beat it across two casual afternoons (I was up to the second to last area after well under 10 hours of play).

I thought the first one was good fun was repetitive and the puzzles quickly repeated but I still thought it was pretty good for a cheap/rental game

The 9x9 fuse puzzle was a pain in the butt from the first. Like #3 wasnt the worst game i've played.

The first one was very good in the puzzle aspect of the game but in actual walking and combat mechanics it failed.

The first game may have been an easy 1000 but as a game it was an absolute mess. Ugh.

I liked the first game but i made the mistake of playing this and watching tremors 2 (horrid movie btw) while I was sick (and doped up on medicine due to it). I ended up having a dream where I was trapped in Jigsaw's game nad every time I cleared a room and went into the next, I wound up in the same room as before doing the same puzzle... and then i got chased by giant worms...

I hope they add more variety to the game. And improve flaws such as the combat, then this game will be worth playing

Eh, the first game is worth it if you have $20 and want some easy achievements.

I still want to play the first one. The movies really aren't that good, though.

They should DEFINITELY give you the "jaw ripper" head gear as an avatar clothing. That would be EPIC.

@6 you will have to buy USA games. UK runs on PAL which is only the UK, NZ and Australia.

You can buy adapters for plugs at shops.

@19 'Doped up eh!' - Sounds like you were tripping balls... lol!
But yeh, this sounds interesting, never played the first but I heard some good things about it.
Too bad it'll be overshadowed by New Vegas!!!

@17 IGN reviews are pants! Not many reviews I agree with.

As an overall game its pants but if you like something simple to mong out to then its worth a go.

Tried playing Saw in PC and did not like it. Laggy controls and lame combat system killed it for me. Will not be picking this up for sure^^ Movie, on the other hand, I can not wait to see, especially after seeing Saw VI, which I think was the best since the first one!
