UTV Ignition has released a patch for Blacklight: Tango Down today, addressing a range of gameplay issues as well as adding a few new features to boot.
"The entire team took fan feedback and critique to heart and constructed the update to specifically address their concerns," said Jared Gerritzen, Lead Designer at Zombie Studios. "As one of the summer’s top XBLA downloads, we’re really happy with the way fans have been enjoying the game, and we’ll continue to make sure players are having the best online experience possible."
The new Blacklight patch will fix the game's spawning issues, round times, matchmaking and a few other issues based on fan feedback, and will also reset the timer on the trial version to allow latecomers to sample the game anew.
So, if you were finding yourself frustrated by spawn campers, the update increases spawn invincibility time to put a stop to cheap players spawn killing. Matchmaking has also been made faster to find and get you into a game quicker.
Blacklight: Tango Down is available on the Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points.
