Two Split Second DLC Packs Boosting In This Week

Two fuel-injected, turbo boosted DLC packs are heading to Split/Second this week, with the first - '"High Octane" Supercar Vehicle Pack - already available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 160 Microsoft Points.

The second DLC pack coming this week, will be the 'Elite Vehicle Livery Pack', which will add new liveries and decals to the Brawn, Vixen, and Raptor vehicles, for free. Presumably because no one would bother to fork out money for useless decals.

Split/Second's "High Octane" Supercar Vehicle Pack meanwhile, adds 3 new supercars to your garage - which are supposedly some of the fastest available - and a new livery for the Ryback Cyclone.

Expect to see more Split/Second DLC landing on the Xbox Live Marketplace in the very near future.

I wonder if these new vehicles will finally be enough to beat the goddamned AI. Probably not. Looks like I won't be putting this game back in the Xbox.

Already traded this game in, got tired of the rubber-banded racing.

if the cars r fast enough to actually really lose all the AI cars behind me...i would b willing to buy them. but if the AI will catch up in less then 2 seconds when it said they were behind by 10 seconds...the i dont want it

Adding new cars to racing games always seemed pointless. New tracks is where it's at and while at it throw in some cars extra free of charge! Played this on PC and got bored pretty fast. Slick graphics and ideas, but just to repetitive after a while...

I think most people would rather have new tracks to explore than new cars on the same old tracks we're already bored of.
