Ubisoft has announced a new first-person shooter IP called 'Bloody Good Time' that will utilise Valve's proprietary Source Engine that has served games like Left 4 Dead, Half-Life and Counter Strike so well over the years.
Apparently, Bloody Good Time is an "irreverent" multiplayer shooter situated on a Hollywood movie set, where players can "choose their thrill."
Environments will include a spring-break beach house, terrifying Vegas hotel (?!) and many more, inspired by scary Hollywood blockbuster movies. Up to eight players can get involved online, with a variety of unexpectedly underhand and devious ways to kill and mutilate the opposition.
Bloody Good Time will also have a range of "wacky" weapons beyond the standard guns, like frying pans and an exploding RC rat. Obviously.
Expect B-movie sterotypes galore, from the bikini beach babe, to creepy clown and super jock when Bloody Good Time launches on the Xbox Live Arcade on October 27th, 2010.
