The big announcements just keep on coming from the Tokyo Game Show, which is arguably kicking E3 and Gamescom's collective ass for massive game reveals this year. So, with Asura's Wrath and DmC already offering up a hefty slice of hack and slash, it's time Ryu Hayabusa stepped forward, wouldn't you say?
Enter Ninja Gaiden 3, which is currently being shown behind closed doors at TGS 2010 and has been officially confirmed by Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja, who is back on development duties but without the input of Tomonobu Itagaki for the first time. Itagaki - as you will already know - is hard at work with his new dev studio on Devil's Third.
All we have to go on at the moment however, is a Ninja Gaiden 3 teaser image, depicting a bloody-faced Hayabusa tugging at his mask. Will the game be as delightfully gory as its predecessor? One can only hope. No date or deets as yet though, annoyingly. Stare at the picture and think of what might be for now then.
