TGS Kinect Game #2 Is Dragon Flight Game 'Project Draco'

Here be dragons, as Microsoft has announced another new partnership with developer Grounding Inc. to bring its Kinect-enabled dragon flying game to the Xbox 360. Project Draco will enable you to ride a dragon using the motion camera, as well as allowing you to communicate with your scaly steed to nurture it and help it fight harder.

Using your body to control the winged beast, it's almost like a Kinect version of Panzer Dragoon, which Project Draco Director, Yukio Futatsugi collaborated on. He's also the creator of 2004 Xbox action title, Phantom Dust.

Project Draco will be bringing a breath of fresh fire to Kinect in 2011.

@2 Don't forget you can talk to your Dragon.. Assuming of course that 'communicate' means talking and not just 'petting' it. Of course if it does mean talking then it's only available in English, Mexican or Japanese for the time being!

Nice one.

I loved the Panzer Dragoon games, I hope this turns out to be good and not just gimmicky.

@2 They make you pay to sit down on a couch and move an analog stick side to side, what's the difference? It's still interface, it's just new.

Sounds good although a peace of production art doesn't mean the game will look any good. Although if they stay with that art direction it could be a really good game. I really hope that Kinect doesn't go the way of the Wii and just churn out family game after family game, a Panzer Dragoon style game could be great, Pokemon wouldn't.

@11 Pre-ordered this yesterday. Then realised I preordered CoD and they both come out on same day. Lots of money depleting from my bank account ><

But is looking forward to giving Kinect a fair shout because it isn't like the Wii at all, really.
