And so rumour becomes official today, as Bob Marley is indeed coming to Rock Band next week, with the Bob Marley and The Wailers Greatest Hits album 'Legend' hitting the store.
With Marley classic "Get Up, Stand Up" already confirmed for Rock Band 3, the rest of the 1984 Greatest Hits compilation will be coming to the Rock Band Store to give fans an early taster of the legendary reggae artist ahead of the third game's release.
Shifting 25 million in the US and a further 2.8 million in the UK, Legend is the best-selling reggae album of all time, so what better way to have the genre make its debut in Rock Band?
“My father was interested in bringing reggae music to the entire world,” said Ziggy Marley, “and now that his music is coming to Rock Band, as the first reggae artist in the game, we are excited to open the doors to reggae music to a whole new group of young people.”
