Having left Ubisoft back in June of this year, Assassin's Creed Creative Director Patrice Désilets has now joined THQ, where he'll be setting up a new studio in Montreal.
Désilets had been with Ubisoft for 13 years, working on titles like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time before assuming the role of Creative Director on the first two Assassin's Creed titles. And as you know, Assassin's Creed is now one of Ubisoft's biggest intellectual properties.
Starting with THQ in summer 2011, Désilets and his team will begin work on a brand new IP, details of which will no doubt emerge later next year.
