With the weekend approaching, it's time to wind down and chill out (unless you work at the weekends, in which case, sorry). What better way to go mellow than with a few screens for Atari and Vitamin-G's forthcoming XBLA title, The UnderGarden.

"A casual zen-like game" according to the PR, The UnderGarden has you exploring strange underground caverns teeming with bizarre lifeforms, solving physics-based puzzles and discovering hidden secrets. Here's a handy guide to what you'll be doing in the XBLA game:

  1. Use different types of fruit to help solve brain-teasing physics-based puzzles
  2. Watch the world around you bloom and come to life
  3. Pick up musicians to enhance the soothing audio tracks
  4. Unlock new looks for your character as you progress through the UnderGarden
  5. Explore a variety of different levels
  6. Solve tricky puzzles
  7. Gather pollen to make your world blossom with plant life and colour
The UnderGarden will feature local co-op play and 20 calming puzzles to figure out as you drift through the game's underwater oasis. It all sounds lovely. The UnderGarden is due to release on the Xbox Live Arcade in winter 2010. Check out the first screens in the gallery.
