It's been a long time getting here, but from tomorrow you'll finally be able to play Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light with online co-op. The mode will come as part of a "major update" for Wednesday, October 27th that will activate the delayed online co-op feature. And as a thank-you for your patience, Crystal Dynamics is offering the first DLC for free.
“We’re delighted the Online Co-op is ready and going live – as a thank you to the patient Xbox gamers, and for a limited time only we will be giving away our first DLC pack for free. Download it, have a go and while you’re there try the online co-op mode, it’s great fun,” said Darrell Gallagher, General Manager of Crystal Dynamics.
'All the Trappings' is the name of the first DLC pack, which will be free for a limited period of 30 days. The add-on "offers up a brand new area to conquer and features a combination of puzzle, exploration and combat experiences," according to the press release. Keep your eyes peeled for it on the Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow.
