@3 Why am I not surprised? =P I heard that you don't need Kinect to play this game. If so, I'm really considering buying this game.Thursday, October 28, 2010 @ 01:36 PM
@5 on the box near the end of the video there is a sticker reading "Requires Kinect Sensor" so I assume that you will need Kinect to play.Thursday, October 28, 2010 @ 01:41 PM

Kinect reads the movements really well as i was fortunate enough to play it the other day (not Sonic Riders but others)coz it was some Kinect Event day thing. Yea i was a bit dodgy about Kinect before but after experiencing it from me its Amazing! All the haters should give it a go at least.Thursday, October 28, 2010 @ 05:52 PM
"a hoverboard racing game" Hoverboards = good times =). "Weapons in the game include Octo-ink for slipping up the competition" If it hits the ground and makes you slip they AREN'T hoverboards if they hit the hoverboard and make you slip then good times.Thursday, October 28, 2010 @ 06:13 PM
@14 it inks your opponents screen and you have to do a like waving of your hands motion to wipe it offThursday, October 28, 2010 @ 08:23 PM

Sonic Free Riders sees everyone's favourite blue hedgehog coming to Kinect on launch day, with a hoverboard racing game that enables you to blast your rivals with all manner of quirky weaponry like all good kart racers. Except Sonic Free Riders isn't a kart racer... You get the idea.
Weapons in the game include Octo-ink for slipping up the competition, a soda rocket you can shake-up then watch explode for a speed boost, a tee shot for whacking golf balls at other racers, a bowling strike for flattening anyone ahead of you, and a target torpedo that you throw at your rival to blow them up. Nice.
Sonic Free Riders is coming to Kinect on November 10th.
