Ubisoft has some rather pleasing news for RUSE fans, with plans to release free downloadable content for the game in December.

'The Manhattan Project Pack' will introduce three new maps and two additional multiplayer modes for RUSE, with the maps supporting 2v2 and 3v3 battles in Holland, Italy and North African territories. The two new modes are 'Nuclear War' and 'Total War' and are as follows:

  • “Nuclear war” will enable you to produce nuclear Long Tom cannons, with mutual nuclear threat involved. The destructive scope of R.U.S.E. just flew off the charts.
  • In “Total War”, the battle starts in 1939 and History advances every ten minutes, unlocking new units and technologies.
Sounds pretty good for a free add-on. The Manhattan Project Pack is coming in December and Ubisoft will be confirming a specific release date soon.
