Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is getting a nice little boost to its stable of licensed teams with a free DLC add-on that will add twelve new kits and ten new boot styles from various renowned sports apparel manufacturers.

The twelve licensed kits include the Ireland national team and some French clubs, whereas the ten licensed football boots come from the likes of Adidas, Mizuno, Puma and Umbro.

The data update DLC will be available for free from December 21st, with Konami promising more similar free content during the new year. We call that a goal.

Well, it's a good thing it's free! But things like that should have been on the game disc on the release date. That's one of the reasons, why FIFA was/is better in the last 2 years...

@2 They are updated kits and they didn't have the licenses for the boots when the game came out, and their free so not entirely sure what you're getting at.

I'll tell you why PES was better this year, gameplay.

thats great news really but personnaly i dont buy pes anymore since they no longer good anymore (my opinion). The golden days are behind them and with people going on about fifa and licenses seriously its about gamesplay the fact pes always had license problem never bothered any of the hardcore players i would fork out £30 every year for it back in the ps2 days cause it was by far the best football game. As for Fifa 11 its a great game but im afraid it will never feel that void left by the classic pes games although i salute fifa for a remarkable transformation with their games since the fifa 06 it has improved so much and its a great game i just dont like fifa games because when i play them it never feel likes i can play the style or way i wana play the game feels restricted to too many motions and movements, But credit to both parties people need to stop moaning about which one is better i personally wish there was more makers of football games out there as theres only two choice's right now and i dont wana play either anymore so im left with no footie game to play which is annying but hey im experincing new games

#6 Because its the best sport in the world, loved worldwide. Visit a football game outside the states and you'll know why.
