Def Jam Rapstar has been reduced in price in the US this Christmas, as Konami has announced via the official Def Jam Rapstar site, that the MSRP has dropped to $39.99 for the standalone game, while a look at Amazon reveals that the microphone bundle has also fallen to $49.99. Both have also been reduced by a few dollars on the retailer's site and have also been reduced to £33.81 and £43.81 on Amazon UK.
But that's not all, as those of you that own Kinect rather than an Xbox Live Vision camera can now use the motion sensor to record your performance and upload it for all the Def Jam Rapstar community massive to see. This makes a lot of sense, and so we hope to see more games following suit with Kinect updates of their own in the near future. *cough* Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit's profile pictures! *cough*
So, perfect your best hip-hop swagger, get your attitude in order and go record your best rapstar performance for the whole world to see. But for crying out loud, draw the curtains... the neighbours just won't get it. Just ask Webb... then again, I'm not sure you're supposed to play the game naked.
