Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 showing Heihachi Mishima after a bath in the fountain of youth it seems, looking like a big beardy version of Kazuya, who he also works alongside in the video. Confusingly, Heihachi is fighting opponents from previous Tekken titles in which he's been a gruff, balding old man, so bear in mind that it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
But then, when has Tekken ever made any sense? We'll be interested to see how young Heihachi slots into the convoluted Mishima family saga when the game hits the Japanese arcades in 2011. Producer, Katsuhiro Harada has also suggested on his Twitter page that the console version will be landing between the releases of Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter.
Check out the trailer to see the game and young Heihachi in action, as well as the reveal of a mysterious female lucha libre fighter too. Stay tuned for hopefully more on a 360 version in the near future.
