Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood 'Rome at Dusk' Multiplayer Map Now Available

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's multiplayer is getting another extra map for free, although it's not strictly new. It's the 'Rome at Dusk' map, which as you might have gathered from the name, is the game's Rome map, but at dusk.

We're all for free maps in whatever form, so being able to try out the Rome multiplayer map as darkness falls across it should be pretty interesting. And as those among you who play Brotherhood multiplayer on a regular basis will attest, assassinating by night can be a different kettle of fish, making the rooftops a more inviting place to track your prey and the darker clothed characters a better choice.

We're sharpening up our hidden blades in preparation for some Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer, so look out for us on the Rome at Dusk map. We'll be the one running around impatiently.

I would not mind some offline campaign DLC, but grats to everyone who is playing Multi and loving it because free is great!

I must say worried when a first heard about multiplayer is AC but now after playing it I can't get enough. Such a unique take that fits with the game. Still some things they could tweak for the next outing but an excellent first run. Great job Ubi!!

I really gotta get started on this game. Unfortunately, I never finished 2 (as I was playing on PS3; re-purchased it for Xbox just to start over, particularly so I could play AC:B on Xbox), so I need to get on top of that as well. x_X;

The multiplayer in AC is brilliant. Wanted is just genius, so glad they didn't ruin the franchise. I never want the story to end...ever! It is so gripping. It is like cake, you can never have only one piece...or two....or even three for that matter. :D

The multiplayer in this game is incredible! Love that you can have gears and colors on your character :D If you can customize your character more in AC3 I will steal a car, drive to Ubisoft, and kiss them all...

Awesome, though I'll probably be boosting for AEotM and Role Model later.

Still, more free Brotherhood DLC is always a good thing.

The free MP maps has definitely been a plus, but I'm still waiting on some free Campaign DLC for Brotherhood or maybe even more DLC for ACII would be nice as well.

@3 I agree, when are they gonna have some more missions for the story, like I know Ezio's story is done and all but look at the way it ended... (SPOILER!) The last we saw of him was when he threw Cesare of the tower and then hiding the apple in one of the temples, then you awake as Desmond and arrive at the temple to get the apple.... Desmond kills lucy. END.

They could have more missions for Ezio or Desmond. At least until AC3 and a new Assassin are brought into the light.

Maybe something similar to the Christina missions or we could get to run around as Desmond or have something revolving around Vidic and the Templar's(We didn't even see him this time around, What's up with that??)... SOMETHING!

But don't get me wrong, the online is outstanding.

Fix the profile set glitch and I'll go back and check this out. Until then, it's practically unplayable.

I don't think we'll ever get SP DLC. It worked for ACII because they couldn't release 2 segments of the game until later. Brotherhood's story is done. The DLC would have to have a purpose. I don't see anything but a large-scale expansion having enough purpose to be worth a purchase.

@22: That's not fact; there are plenty of places on the map that are locked. There is really nothing left to tell in Brotherhood; no huge missing gaps in Ezio's memories, no loose plot threads, etc.

Also, this news post is false: This DLC is not yet available. I have looked everywhere.

I like that they are trying... But with that Last dlc map pack It would put me into a match where its the daytime level, Then after choosing to rematch it'l be the nightime version, Great. Wish they'd sort that out, So instead of them being 2 seprate maps when that map comes up its random on the time of day.

@ 34 - You don't "have" to do missions a certain way. It's just an "option" of synching the memory to how Ezio did it. Getting a 100% memory sync for the entire game doesn't do anything special. Way to jam your foot down your throat. Assassin's Creed 1 was actually pretty linear in terms of missions there bucko. The only thing you could do "WHAT EVER WAY U WANT" was be silent or aggressive.
AC:B introduced many more new ways:
- Assassin Summon
- Crossbow (Damn the man who berates this god given weapon)
- Poison Darts
- Throwing Larger Weapons

Something tells me you really need to switch to decaf.

Supporting multiplayer with FREE content is perfect for a game like this. I was scared they would kill it and run people off with $10 map packs and junk. Well done, Ubisoft.. Love this game's online modes so much.

as nice some of you seem to find the multiplayer, it's way too flawed still, to making me want to play this on a daily base. there has to come alot more MP options, alot more maps etc. the actual gameplay lacks on certain levels. like the fact you can only run away or stun (if ur lucky) when u are being chased? seems so dorky for an ultimate assissin, doesn't it? i can go on and on about the negative things that are missing in the MP option (choosing amount of time / play-style / map selection / number of players / free-mode etc), but the fact is, the single players RAWKS, the mp SUCKS.
