Dark Void
Miracles Do Happen! Dark Void Updated to 1250

File this in the "better late than never" category, as Microsoft has updated last year's Dark Void to finally add the ten new achievements from the Survivor Missions DLC, which have now been missing from (and therefor unobtainable) for the past 11 months. The Horde/Firefight-esque content was first available all the way back in February, 2010 for 400MSP. The full DLC achievement list can be seen here.

If you had previously unlocked any of these achievements, you will need to recover your Gamertag and reattempt them for the points to now properly apply to your Gamerscore.

"Prepare for the fight of your life! In the Survivor Missions, relive key events from Dark Void as you battle waves of increasingly difficult enemy troops. Rack up massive points with score multipliers for headshots and hijacking enemy aircraft. Pick up time bonuses and fight back the alien armada! But never forget what matters most: Survival!"

Isn't this Microsoft's fault? How can Capcom update Microsoft's servers? As an aside, Things on Wheels is still missing its last DLC achievement...

O. M. F. G.

I'm.... I'm speechless. Capcom just secured my Publisher of the Year! (or if this was's fault, whoever runs that place is my... ah, Techie of the Year)

same could be said for ghostbusters. hopefully these actually work. i wish they would fix that upgrade achieve grease monkey. im stuck at 970 because of it and you cant just delete your save because they tie all the stats to your gamertag. i hate glitched achieves. id actually buy this dlc if they would fix the weapon upgrade achieve.

@4: Yeah, just had a brain lapse - I'd only been up for twenty minutes when I wrote it originally. It is indeed Microsoft's fault that the achievements were not on (obviously). But, you could also say Capcom didn't exactly push their case very hard... regardless, articled edited for clarity.

Oh wow. This game is so cheap. Too bad I hated the demo.

I loved Dark Void Zero, though (the DSiWare game). They should port that to XBLA and update it. I'd be all over that.

@#9 - Well, technically that patch DOES work, but it doesn't work for the 90+% people who the patch was actually meant for, since it only works with new profiles or those who didn't really play it at all.

@#12 - This.

Yet there's a new street fighter 4 costume pack every other day. With priorities like that why even bother releasing stuff like this?

Considering that the game retails at most for $15, this can't be bad for anyone who hasn't played it yet.

Microsoft seriously need to make a small crew, which only purpose is to make sure is always up to date, there is no excuse to all delayed achievements updates.

It wouldn't be an issue if your gamerscore and gamertag updated itself automatically when these new achievements, but as it is now, recovering a gamertag when you're starting to reach 50k points can take a loooong time.

I didn't really like this game too much, and I stopped playing it about halfway through. I'm curious though, will/did this fix the "Grease Monkey" glitchy achievement? When ever I played this game, I was never connected to Live, so all the achievements that I have gotten are offline. But, since then, I've connected and played some other games and got some more cheevos... am I screwed for the achievements on this game now...? Or is there some chance that I may be able to get them? If the DLC will fix that problem, I'll definately get it... so... does anyone know?

@20 ...Seriously bud? There are updates about Capcom products at least 2 to 3 times a month. Marvel vs Capcom 3 usually being their product that is ever given updates. This month is an exception since Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2 soon to be released, and today with Dark Void, so expect Capcom to live for quite a while.

Great, right after I 1000/1000 the game. I probably wouldn't have taken the time to grind for the points to upgrade all my weapons if I had known there'd be more points added.

Maybe I'll get the DLC if they discount it.

Great going now all we need is to update Star Wars The force Unleashed: Hoth Mission pack DLC as the achievements are still missing.

@2 who cares about a DLC fix when they are making games. like Dead rising 2 Ect.
I know the fix was needed but i would prefer Dead rising on time then postponed.
