Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Shuma-Gorath and Jill Valentine DLC Screens Strike

As Marvel characters go, Shuma-Gorath is pretty obscure, but he's actually an all-powerful demon that rules over hundreds of dimensions and even ruled Earth for a brief spell before he was banished. He's encountered the Fantastic Four and tangled with Doctor Strange, and is a Marvel vs. Capcom series mainstay. In Marvel vs. Capcom 3 however, he's been demoted to the status of downloadable bonus character.
As has Resident Evil's Jill Valentine, who joins fellow STARS members Albert Wesker and Chris Redfield in the Capcom stable, albeit as an extra DLC character. Whether she'll have the ability to hurl zombies and undead dogs at you a la Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is uncertain, although there's none of that kind of thing in these new screenshots.
Where Jill favours high kicks in her catsuit - and she's seemingly still under the control of Wesker with that device attached to her chest - Shuma-Gorath is still as nasty as ever, using those whip-like tentacles to great effect as well as launching all sorts of other-worldly pain from his eye, like big pink lasers and such.
Check out the 19 new screens in the gallery and keep a giant Shuma-Gorath eye out for Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds on February 15th in North America and February 18th in Europe.
