Kinect movie karaoke game Yoostar 2 has had its full set list of memorable movie scenes revealed today, cramming no less than 80 scenes from a whole eclectic selection of classic and modern films including Casablanca, The Hangover, 300, The Terminator, The Matrix, Rocky, Meet the Parents and more. You're bound to find a scene you love or one you think you can improve upon.

There's even a few TV shows in there, including a scene from Star Trek featuring the furry tribbles. Using Kinect, you're superimposed into the movie scene, where you can deliver the lines verbatum, or deliver all new, made-up dialogue.

Check out the list of some of the famous scenes set to feature in Yoostar 2, which will be available in English and Spanish:

  • 300: This is Sparta! & Tonight we dine in hell!
  • Casablanca: Here’s looking at you, kid.
  • Frankenstein: It’s Alive!
  • Godfather: An offer he can’t refuse.
  • Forest Gump: It’s a household name.
  • The Hangover: One-man wolf pack. & Oh, Lord – it's Mike Tyson
  • Meet the Parents: Can you deal with that!
  • Rocky: What about my prime, Mick?
  • Star Trek: The Original Series Season 2: What killed these tribbles?
  • The Terminator: I’ll be back.

Head over to the official Yoostar 2 website for the full exhaustive list of movies and TV shows set to feature in the game, with the likes of Kick-Ass, Gladiator, King Kong, Grease, Animal House, Wizard of Oz, I Am Legend, Tropic Thunder, Top Gun, CSI Miami, Mad Men and a whole host more planned for the full game, which is due to release on March 8th, 2011 in North America and March 11th in Europe.

  • I haven't played the first Yoostar, but I hope this is good; the game concept sounds like a lot of fun in an untriditional way of gaming.
  • So you're telling me that with kinect, I'll be able to Spartan kick someone and it be totally ok? When does this come out?
  • @2 It's actually really, really sad that I thought the same exact thing when I saw "300" mentioned in the article. >_>;
  • Secod already? i didn't even get a chance to try first one! This should be as DLC:-
  • what if im stood too close to the tv and i accidentily kick the t.v while doing a sparta kick, ill have to keep my distance
  • @ 2 and 3 me too... hehehehehehehehe :-D
  • This Is spartaaaaa lol.
  • Hell yeah, CHEECH AND CHONG! That I can do! Although they should of chose Up In Smoke instead of Still Smoking, it's definitely the better of the two films.
  • @4, that's because Yoostar 1 was a PC game, not a Kinect Launch title. This could be interesting, but it could also be very, very lame... Karaoke is one thing, but make believe Leonidas... Ok, that's also pretty cool. But make believe CSI Miami? Say line 1, remove sunglasses, say line 2, look serious. No way I could take that seriously....
  • @9: i think thats the point. you dont have to take it seriously, you just have to have some fun with it.
  • hahahaha i cannot believe that I actually want this
  • Looking for strippers and cocaine xD
  • I'm confused, you just act the scenes and then they are replayed with you in them? How is that even a videogame when there is no real objective? Does it score your performance? What will the achievements be like? Sort of like the Scene It games, I'd guess. I want to know more...
  • @13: The achievements are already available. Click "Achievements" above the sexy picture of Rich at the top. You can also click "Overview" to read two other articles about the game that have some more info.
  • I'm actually really excited for this...I love movie quotes and I'm great at impersonations..this game is made just for me.!
  • I am so happy that Kindergarten Cop is in this game. I want this simply so I can shout IT'S NOT A TOOMA at my TV.
  • This game has made me want Kinect, I am seriously buying Kinect now just for this game ROFL.
  • I saw this game at a convention, and it is one I am very excited about. To clarify (outside what you can glean from just reading the achvs), the concept is that there is a shadow for the character(s) (yes...the demo had more than one person in the scene) that you will represent in the scene...you get in the pose , then try to re-enact the scene and lines just like the movie (if you want a high score). The beauty is that you can do whatever you want and it saves the clip, so you can re-do scenes with your own lines, or can even go hardcore COSPLAY and try to make it exactly the same. From the achv list it looks like you get graded on about 4 things. The game should be a ton of fun, especially with parties, and the devs already said they have a nice DLC plan to add more recent movies in an ongoing process.
  • I can't believe there is "As Good As It Gets" come one!
  • @16 Where did you see Kindergarten Cop??
  • @#20: If you check the achievement list, one of them mentions the "It's not a tumor!" scene.
  • Who da star ? You da Star !
  • I have a feeling the Kick-Ass line WONT be the infamous Hit-Girl line. Although it would be hilarious, in a totally puerile way.
  • I'm buying this just for the Kindergarten cop scene now.
  • Oh wow, I'm ashamed how much I want to play this! Can't wait.
  • I've wanted to try the Original on PC, but I didn't want to pay for it with my internal organs. And I have been adamantly against Kinect. But Hell, Yoostar seems Pretty damned interesting, but I bet the DLC Scenes will cost a Truckload!
  • hmmm...I don't really know what to say.
