As you already know, a demo of Dragon Age II will be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace from February 22nd offering a brief taster of what to expect when the full game releases next month.

Upon completing the demo, you'll be awarded the the ancient dwarven Hayder's Razor blade to take with you into Dragon Age II, but EA has added yet another incentive to coax players into downloading the demo.

If downloads of the demo across PS3, PC and Xbox 360 reach 1 million, two in-game items that grant beneficial boosts to your character will be unlocked. Both items are poetry books, namely 'The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall' and 'Lothering's Lament', which give you extra coin and an XP boost respectively.

You'll need to be logged into you EA account to log the download, so if you don't already have one set up, now might be the time to sort it.

Dragon Age II is out on March 8th in North America and March 11th in the UK and Europe. Check out our latest preview and interview for more.
