If you're a bit apprehensive about ripping spines and fracturing bones, then you'll be able to sample Mortal Kombat before the game releases, as Warner Bros. and Ed Boon's NetherRealm Studios is planning to release a demo on Xbox Live after the PS3 demo launches on March 15th, giving you four fighters to check out.
Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Mileena will all be available to use in the demo, which also offers two iconic arenas to fight in, the Living Forest and the Pit. You'll be able to climb the arcade ladder in one or two player modes, which means you're getting a substantial chunk of the game to explore.
You'll be able to download the blood-drenched Mortal Kombat demo from the Xbox Live Marketplace some time after March 15th, hopefully more than a month before the game releases on April 21st, 2011. Let's hope we get a proper date like the PS3 version soon, eh? Or else... Fatality! And so on...
