Indie developer Ska Studios has today dated The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, the sequel to Undead Samurai that intends to kick the action up a notch, enabling you to play as The Dishwasher or his sister Yuki in single-player or hook up with a friend via Xbox Live for some co-op action.

Vampire Smile boasts 13 campaign missions to slice through, as well as 50 arcade challenges with leaderboard support. You'll have almost a dozen weapons to choose from too, including the giant Painkiller syringe, meaning you'll be able to deal death in style.

The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile will be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade with full stereoscopic 3D support and a new game engine, from April 6th, for 800 Microsoft Points.

Awesome. Can't wait for this game. I'm happy they stuck with the 800pts price. At 1200 I would have been resistant to buy it.

Sounds good, I still need to get the first. I do remember really enjoying the game and ska studios always does good stuff. Glad to see a XBLIG dev have a success story.

might get this depending on difficulty of the game. Dead Samurai was brutal and still havent been able to beat it.

Dead Samurai was hard as hell

I hope this one is just as hard or even harder
The difficulty was part of the reason I loved the first one

Hahahahahhh I remember the first one well . . . mainly its brain-swellingly torturous difficult. But seriously, repressed memories aside it was pretty bloody awesome and I'll totally check this out. Maybe even go back and try for a couple more achievements in the first. Also good to see they stuck with 800 price tag even though they could have pushed it to 1200.

First one was pretty awesome. Wish they would of just added levels for $5 instead of a sequel for 10 since I doubt any of my XBL friends would get this to play co-op.

Kind of makes me want to re-download it and give it another play (the original that is).

@7
If you check the achievement list, you'll see that your wishes have been answered.

@14
I'll play with ya...

Finishing this game on Samurai difficulty (in split-screen, mind you) was one of the most satisfying events in gaming for me (especially since I missed out on many of the old-school, pain in the ass games)...that feeling may convince me to purchase this too.
