EA and frostbite engine 2 = Medal of Honor 2 :D
Wednesday, March 23, 2011
According to a new job listing posted on EA.com, the company is looking for a senior multiplayer designer for an unannounced third-person shooter "with a strong multiplayer focus". What's more, it'll utilise the Frostbite 2 Engine, which is also being used for Battlefield 3.
EA LA's last project was Medal of Honor, so whether it's another instalment in that particular series is unknown, but seems unlikely given that it's a third-person shooter EA is recruiting for.
It's possible that EA LA might be getting to work on a new shooter IP rather than a sequel to an existing franchise, but no doubt there'll be an official announcement of some description in the near future. So, you know the score... Watch this space and all that.
