Fight Night Champion Bare Knuckle DLC Detailed
Written By
View author's profile

A batch of Fight Night Champion DLC is set to make its way onto the Xbox Live Marketplace next week, with a host of heavyweight legends and some serious Bare Knuckle boxing, as previously seen in Andre Bishop's Champion Mode storyline, during the no-holds barred prison fights.

Fight Night Champion's Heavyweight Legends Pack will include five all-time greats to take into the ring and will include the Bare Knuckles Boxing Pack with its 'Old School Rules' all for 800 Microsoft Points. The five boxers are Rocky Marciano, Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis and Floyd Patterson. Each boxer can also be purchased separately for 160 Microsoft Points each.

Alternatively, if you just want the standalone Bare Knuckles Boxing Pack, it'll cost you 320 Microsoft Points, offering online and offline bare knuckle bouts, in which Old School Rules are the order of the day, just as people used to box before the good old Queensbury Rules were introduced. Muhammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya, Geroge Foreman, Joe Frazier, Evander Holyfield, Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran and Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko have all decided against agreeing to appear in Bare Knuckle mode, so they won't be available as bare knuckle fighters in the pack.

Every other boxer in Fight Night Champion's roster however, will participate in the Bare Knuckles Pack, which introduces online ranked and unranked bare knuckle fights, as well as a bare knuckle online World Championship.

And finally, there will also be the Alternate Weight Class Pack, offering 8 boxers in different weight classes, all for 80 Microsoft Points. They are Featherweight Manny Pacquiao, Lightweight Manny Pacquiao, Lightweight Oscar De La Hoya, Middleweight Roy Jones Jr, Middleweight Bernard Hopkins, Welterweight Roberto Duran, Middleweight Thomas Hearns and Welterweight Pernell Whitaker.

All three Fight Night Champion DLC packs will be available on March 29th.

This is horrible DLC IMO... bareknuckle is the only good thing that sounds good. They should have added something to OWC

lol it sounds good but how much is it? there really is no point in spending lots of money just to take the gloves off.

A little too pricey given the fact that the biggest names in the heavyweight class aren't available for bare knuckle. That is too bad, because I always like old school rules. I don't get why they took it out after FN3. I guess to put it in as DLC from now on.

Pretty nice add ons but its asking a lot of gamers why not just include it on the game when released why hold it back to get more money off the gamers. Do what i do and tell EA to f*** off and stop ripping people off and buy their games pre-owned or rent them so they dont make much off you. I do that a lot my way off saying f*** you EA and microsoft PS4 for me had enough of these greedy money making F***** charge for everything shit like that should just come with the bloody game in the first place not hold it back to rip us off glad i dont buy Brand new anymore just renting from now on

Awful DLC's. I am done with EA's boxing games, they rosters flat out suck and the Legacy Mode is atrocious.

I kind of understand those fighters not wanting to be associated with blood lust bare knuckle fighting in reality....but in a freaking video game everyone should be willing to throw down. Especially Mike Tyson! Oh well for 200 points I'd maybe pick it up but as a heavyweight division fan I may have to pass. Openweight Dlc would interest me. If I really need Tyson with small gloves I've got UFC or EA: MMA. People make one helluva created character.

Why would Rocky Balboa be in? Anyway this DLC is awesome. These were some of the best HWs ever so whoever said that this is horrible DLC isn't a real boxing fan. Now, if it's the price you don't agree with then that's understandable but you shouldn't expect low prices by EA at this point.

LMAO I am a hardcore boxing fan so get your facts straight. I've had my fair share of the legends from the previous Fight Nights, it's time EA started filling the game with active rosters.

@8 - You know games go 'gold' 2 or 3 months before release? After that they're finished with the game and it starts getting printed and what not. So what do the creators do then? Sit there and twiddle their thumbs? No, they start making more content.

Don't ever say stupid stuff like "get your facts straight" on here Furious. Looks pretty idiotic like we're suppose to know who you are or something and will only make you lose in the long run. If you were a hardcore boxing fan then you wouldn't say that the names on this DLC were awful That's a fact I got str8. You can say the price is awful but you would have known that if you read my first post so get your facts str8 kid so won't look bad next time.

Why wouldn't I say the names are awful ? I want a modern day roster with active boxers, I've grown tired of using the legends over and over again. All I want is for guys like Sergio Martinez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Juan Manuel Lopez and Paul Williams to be in the DLC, we don't need to see more ancient HW's added and make the game appear even more out of touch with the sport today. And for the love god stop mentioning the price I haven't complained once about it, I could care less about how many points these poor DLC's cost.

More bare knuckle fights will be awesome, but not having half of the boxers playable, is not.

"Why wouldn't I say the names are awful? I want a modern day roster with active boxers"

So you want modern boxers but think that these modern boxers have better names than Louis and Marciano? lol Wrong and guess what... boxing's popularity isn't exactly that great these days so it wouldn't sell like it has if it only had current boxers in the game. This isn't Madden we're talking about. Do you know how bad the HW division would suck? lol

"will this have achievements?"

God I hope not, play the game for the game... not for some stupid achievements.

Where is it??

I cannot find it on MP.
Even if it's overpriced , i'm still gonna get them. Online is not my cup of tea so I want to get the most out of it off-line.
