Droplitz Gets a Price Cut on XBLA

Atlus has today announced that its soothing, yet challenging and addictive 2009 XBLA puzzler, Droplitz has been given a price cut, reducing it from 800 Microsoft Points to a far more desirable 400 Microsoft Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

"Do you hear that?" asked Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales for Atlus. "It's the sound of things dropping.  The sound of gamers across North America booting up Droplitz and watching their droppers drip precious droplitz for them to try and save.  It's also the sound of Droplitz dropping in price.  Now dropped to only 400 Microsoft Points, there's no dropping way you can resist the urge to drop whatever you're dropping right now and drop Droplitz onto your Xbox 360 system memory.  Drop drop drop."

Although Jabbari states that the price cut is available in North America, it's also available in a host of other territories too. Add it to your download queue here.

I like a sale as much as the next person but is this even worth 400?

Just a question, I have no opinion of this game.

Might have a look at this since it's cheap, but I've never even heard of it before now.

So is this any good? I might pick it up at some point if it's worth it.

So I won't be able to download marble blast anymore, even though I bought or do I just need to go to download history?

To add to GDMF S0ABs post:

Quake 3 Arena got a permanent price drop to 800pts

Both Diner Dash & Dream Chronicles have also been delisted.

@11 - i tried to get Dream Chronicles about 3 weeks ago and it wasn't there.

Not surprising. On Trueachievements xbla sales figures on 3 weeks after release it had sold 43 liciences. Pretty rubbish.

I would have picked it up if i knew it was going. As said above tried 3 weeks ago(just incase) but it was already gone.

@10 download history will still show it and allow the download.

I'm just wondering if the DLC is worth it and also how long the servers will stay up for the online achievements. Unless it's p2p

Ahh, Dream Chronicles has been delisted? I was hoping that'd get the DOTW treatment at some point too. :(

I kept meaning to get marble blast and never got round to it. I've still got the demo on my hard drive. Can I still get the full game if I've got the demo or will it not let me?

@16 I am in the same boat as you buddy I really liked the trial just never got around to picking it up myself and no you cannont upgrade the trial now it just displays an error message :( The MW2 bug does not work ether. Has any delisted game ever been relisted? I wish Microsoft would warn people before they delist games as it would probaly give them one last sales boost.

Damn. I was hoping that would work. Oh well.

I can't understand the thinking behind it. They start delisting older, decent games and keep some of the other tripe on there. Delist them instead.

@17 They have announced previous delistings in the past. They obviously couldn't be bothered with this one. I don't think any have ever been relisted. They could have done a DOTW type thing before they delisted.

I've got a few older games that I keep meaning to get the full versions of. I might start getting them just in case.
