If you fancy yourself as the next Robert DeNiro or Al Pacino, then previously, your tour de force thesping skills in Yoostar 2: In The Movies will have been confined to the Yoostar social network where only owners of the game will be able to view and rate your clips. That's all changed today, as the game has now added YouTube support.

With the ability to now upload your performances to YouTube, you'll now be able to present your clips to a potential audience of 144.8 million unique YouTube users, as well as being able to use the new free Facebook app 'Yoostar Playground' to access other Yoostar 2 features, such as news updates, DLC alerts and a 'boost' power-up to use in the game too.

“Integrating YouTube into the Yoostar community provides unparalleled reach for users to share their performances with the world.  By bringing together the three formerly separate worlds of console gaming, social networking and social video sharing we’ve taken a big step toward realising our vision:  to create the world’s first social video gaming network,” said Stephanie Morgan, Vice President of Social Gaming at Yoostar Entertainment Group. “Sharing video performances with the world is fun and when there are in-game rewards and benefits, the interplay can be exhilarating. Players confident enough to face the performance-savvy YouTube community will raise their rankings, climb the worldwide leaderboard, and possibly even become a real internet star!”

All that's left to do now, is get to work on some new material to post on YouTube, and who knows, it could be your gateway into Hollywood! This time next year, you could be checking into rehab! Check out the new trailer for more on the new additions to Yoostar 2: In The Movies, which is out now for Kinect.

  • how cool :P
  • I don't have Kinect, but this is the first game that has really made me want one. However, the reviews have been mixed for Yoostar, and I can't decide if it's worth it.
  • haha " nice performance" Im gonna hazard a guess thats not going to be the first comment youre going to get when you slap your bad acting on youtube to a bunch of hormonal 13 year olds.
  • Ahhh, makes you wonder why this was not included in the first place! Would be nice to see something like that for say Dance Central, where Kinect would actually record you doing dance routines and let you upoload them to you tube:-)
