Xbox Live Matchmaking on Red Alert

It's not just the PlayStation Network that's been having problems it seems, as Microsoft has issued a service alert warning of 'phishing attempts' while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, showing that Xbox Live hasn't been without its problems, although this is a small raisin of an issue compared to the gigantic PSN watermelon-sized problem causing a service outage.
So, it's nothing to get too worried about. More a warning to stay vigilant when it comes to receiving messages across Xbox Live. If it seems dodgy, chances are it probably is dodgy.
"Users may receive potential phishing attempts via title specific messaging while playing Modern Warfare 2," warns the service alert on the Xbox Live Status page. "We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience".
