Talking to Deus Ex: Human Revolution Art Director, Jonathan-Jacques Belletête, X360A has learned that as Eidos Montreal's current project begins to wind down in the run up to its August release, it'll be Thief 4's turn to hog the spotlight and take centre stage at the studio, as the developer prepares to focus on its other IP.
“It's really Thief's turn now and they're going to be under the spotlight, you know?,” Belletête told X360A. “We're pretty much done, we're ramped down, so now they're ramping up with more people. It's a great team; the Art Director is a good friend of mine, so the game is in really good hands, and that's all I can tell you. It's their turn, man! They're on the main floor taking up all of the space and we've got less now!”
If you thought it had all gone too quiet on the Thief 4 front then, you need not worry. Expect to hear a lot more about the game in the near future.
Deus Ex in the meantime got its preview on today as we explored the depths of the FEMA facility, so don’t forget to check that out. Look out for our full chat with Belletête next week.
