Hunted: The Demon's Forge
Third Hunted: The Demon's Forge Making Of Discusses the Game's World

This latest look at Hunted: The Demon's Forge goes behind the scenes on the making of the game's rich and intricate world, which dispenses with the usual high fantasy standards and creates a fantasy world inspired by the filthy Middle Ages, meaning that the game's unique environments will feel lived-in and grimy. That's what the dev team at inXile essentially say in the new video, anyway.

If you fancy a go at creating your own dungeons and environments, then the developer has also managed to cram in the Crucible Map Creator, which enables you to build your own levels to share with other players. You'll pick the layout of your map, where the enemies are placed and what objectives you must complete.

For a closer look at Hunted's world and the Crucible Map Creator, check out the third making of video below. Hunted: The Demon's Forge is out on May 31st in North America and June 3rd in Europe.

I realy want this game since I love dungeon crawlers, but I am having hard time getting any of my friends to buy it so we can play together. Alone this game is just not that appealing to me:-(

From what I've read the co-op seems kind of weak. Looks decent enough and awesome they include a level editor. More games need to pick up on the trend of including level editors and a global sharing network across the platform. I don't care much for the game, but Little Big Planet's sharing mode is amazing and even if games don't have the spectrum of possibilities that does, level editors are always welcome.

@4, I beg the differ, for once you can't just battle together but spells can add bonus not to your character but that of the other player.

Basicly you need to really cooperate to get most power out of your character. Unlike other games where you just fight together to get through it all these two characters actually add to eachothers battle abilities.

I just pre-ordered this. Everything about it seems totally immersive. Like the best of the best dungeon crawlers, WoW, Oblivion, and graphics at the level of Crysis 2! The ranged archer class looks just wonderful! I can not wait to play this (far more than just some game like Gears 3 or Brink). Though I must say, Gears got a much deeper story emotionally than I ever would have expected.
