Hamburg-based Candygun Games has announced an original IP for its first game and it's a B-movie styled zombie-defence title entitled Dead Block, which will utilise Unreal Engine 3.
Set in 1950s America, Rock 'n' Roll music is transforming people into zombies, so you'll need to hide in various shelters, build blockades and set traps or use weapons as a last resort should the undead break through your defences. Sounds a bit daft, doesn't it?
Starring construction worker Jack Foster, traffic warden Foxy Jones, and an always hungry boy scout appropriately named Mike Bacon who have forged an unlikely alliance to protect themselves from the invading zombie horde, Dead Block is a third-person action zombie-survival game featuring 10 single-player stages and 8 splitscreen co-op levels for up to four-players.
Dead Block is lined up for release on the Xbox Live Arcade later this year. Check out the trailer below.
