Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime DLC Challenge Pack Now Available

Adding hours of additional gameplay to Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is the new Challenge Pack DLC, which contains two brand new game modes for a bargain price. Arcade Challenge and Lone Hero are the two new modes in question, offering a challenging survival game type and a single-player experience against wave after wave of ghostly apparitions.

Here's what the two Challenge Pack modes entail:

  • Arcade Challenge: Designed for seasoned gamers, Aracade Challenge gives players a limited number of lives to see how their skills line up on a distinct Global Leaderboard. Players run through 5 of the game’s most challenging levels in single player mode and once the lives are up, the game is over.  Player scores are automatically posted to a new real-time Leaderboard.
  • Lone Hero: Players can select any level they have unlocked and start from there but this time you are on your own - no co-op, no friendly teammates- just one player to combat the waves of the paranormally possessed.

The Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime Challenge Pack is available from the Xbox Live Marketplace now for 160 Microsoft Points. You can add it to your download queue here. Check out the trailer below and five new screens in the gallery.

@3 doesn't look like it. I didn't find this game to be fun at all. Good thing for demoes.

I ended up getting this game for free, and I was barely able to stand it long enough for 1 achievement.

Cool but whatever.

Well the games was not so good and as a ghostbusters fan I kind of like it but my slimer avatar is better than the game itself lol.

I was so happy to see yesterday a new pack but when I read the descriptions of the contents I was not. It's like nothing fun. (A hard mode and they can't do a hard mode with a buggish games.)
Who want to play a mega man with bug at an extreme difficulty... no one.

I don't understand why it's not free cause it's nothing.

Soon they will make us pay to play an easy and original mode.

Poor Atari. Oh and if you download Daggerdale dont forget to drop the rate systems cause its 5 by default this is why it's not 1 stars. Sorry for that.

Yeah, agree with above comments. I did not find this game fun at all, and I was hoping it would be. Glad I tried the demo before purchase, saved me $$ there.

Look at what you did, Atari. Bad publisher! Go sit in the corner. You can come back when you learn some self respect.

It could be a good co-op game if it wasn't so laggy. my friend could not see any ghosts in one level and at the end they all showed up in the final room and covered the whole screen. i mean every ghost from the level was there. he could not see the boss or do anything. i killed the boss and the level finished.

it could have been good :(

Was seriously disappointed in this after the greatness for what it was of the Ghostbusters Game and Zombie Apocalypse, I had to assume this would be awesome but much like LOTR and SW: Battlefront should've created an awesome LOTR: Conquest, I was instead left with a plate of steaming frownies.

This game was awful, I'm pretty surprised they went through the trouble to release DLC for it.

As a ghostbusters fan even I thought sanctum of slime could have been better. No reason if there are no achievements

Now if someone would just put the squeeze on Terminal Reality and get the Ghostbusters VG to where everyone can 1000G, no matter when you started. Then I'd be happy, but not over some pointless DLC for a game that was kinda horrible to start. (and yes, as a fan I bought it)

Easily one of my worst purchases and biggest regrets =/. No more spur of the moment buys for me. I hardly even want to finish it or get the 200.

Thankfully there aren't any achievements. The game was pretty terrible, and those game modes don't sound very fun. The fact that they even charge for this is crazy.

Ghostbusters is all about capturing ghosts with your buddies/teammates. Why would you then make it solo? WHY?!

and because someone has to say it . . . BUSTIN MAKES ME FEEL GOOD!

Lone Hero? Fuck, that's basically what I did for the regular game due to the pathetic AI. What's the point?

I love the Ghostbusters so I was going to buy this game if it was good or bad, and it was a f**king atrocity. Made AvP look like game of the year.

I loved the original GHOSTBUSTERS game twenty or so years ago. It's a pity they didn't recycle that old thing instead of this. That would have been fun!
