E3 2011: Infinity Ward Not Interested in Campaign Length

Infinity Ward isn't bothered about the length of their single-player campaigns, according to the studio's creative strategist Robert Bowling. Instead they just want to tell a good story.
"Modern Warfare 3 is big," Bowling told Gamefront (via VG247). “It has that epic single player campaign and it’s all about taking players places they’ve never been before.
"Our philosophy on the campaign has always [been] the same. We never set out to make X hours of game time. We write a story and the story dictates the length."
When asked about how long Modern Warfare 3 actually is, Bowling replied, “The game’s not finished yet. I can’t say it’s X amount of hours cause we don’t know.”
Oh well. No doubt it'll end up being about 6 hours again, as has become the norm. But does it really matter? Would you be more tempted to buy MW3 if the single-player campaign was 20 hours long?
Modern Warfare 3 hits in November. I've chucked the Gamefront interview video below.
