Possibly the biggest and most significant of FIFA 12's 'trinity of gameplay enhancements' is the new Impact Engine, which takes into account collisions from every body part of each player, with real-time physics providing realistic, believable feedback whenever players collide on the pitch.
In this new video, Lead Gameplay Designer Aaron McHardy takes us through the upshots of the Impact Engine in FIFA 12, from how it preserves momentum during a run to how it means that clipping is almost entirely eliminated from the game.

Check out our preview and interview with FIFA Line Producer, David Rutter right here, but watch the video first. FIFA 12 is out in autumn 2011.
