Shadows of the Damned hits stores in North America today, which means it's high time we had a look at the launch trailer. And as luck would have it, EA has gone and released one, showing off the game's many freakish enemies that you'll have to face as the hard-drinking, hard-fighting Garcia Hotspur.

Garcia won't be going it alone against the forces of darkness though, as he'll have his trusty skull-shaped sidekick and all-purpose weapon Johnson with him, as he takes a trip into hell to rescue the love of his life, Paula from the clutches of Shadows of the Damned's evil demons.

Check out the launch trailer for a quick look at what to expect from Shadows of the Damned, then get some additional insight from the second developer diary too. Did you know Suda 51 once worked as a mortician? Well, you do now. Shadows of the Damned is out now in North America and will be releasing in other territories around the world later this week. Look out for our definitive review later.

Damn, I can't decide whether to pick this up or not at the weekend. The talent involved is simply awesome, and aside from having a very brief go on No More Heroes on the Wii, I've never sampled the whacky delights of a Suda 51 game. Waiting for some more reviews, but I have a feeling I'll be playing this come the weekend.

Fear 3's looking pretty great as well, especially after reading the IGN review earlier.

I would recommend to rent this game, It was fun but it's not worth full retail price.

This game looks ok, but I'll probably wait for it to drop in price a bit, or just rent it as #2 said.

Weak game, definitely not worth full retail price. Hopefully I will be able to get it for $20 in the future:-)
