Featuring new activities and five different types of dancing, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 looks as though it'll be every bit as useful for shedding those extra pounds with its workouts when it launches later this year. Not only is there the workout sessions that you know and love, but there's more besides, as exuberant fitness expert Laurel House tells us in this new video.

Fitness Evolved 2012 has jump rope and arm swinging activities for warming up and cooling down, just to "get the blood flowing for your workout". Then there's the five new dances to get the heart going, with Hip-Hop, Latin, Pop, Bollywood and African routines for you to get down to.

"African is really intense" says Laurel in this trailer. Erm, great. Check it out for a look at Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 in action before it's release in November 2011.

First was fun but they seem to have screwed up the tracking with an update, Hope they let us turn trainer off so we can train at out own pace rather than play follow the leader and its good that they have added warm up and cool down.

@3 Gyms are expensive, well they are atleast in my eyes. Sure you have to dish out £150 for Kinect and this game, but overall people my look at it as a better investment then paying for a membership at a gym. Of course you can probably get all the benefits of this game for free by just doing everyday home excersises and going for a run, but hey, keep fit and earn achievements at the same time!

@#4 I guess when you look at it that way, for one price of Kinect you'd have at least a year worth (in most cases 2) of gym membership, still I find it more convenient. I don't own shitnect, but agree on simple workout at home with actual weighs and such. On the other hand if you have nothing better to waste your money on then why not go for it:-) Burning 100000 calories is an achievement in itself, I don't need no pop up to show that:-P
