Activision and Marvel have today got together to announce the impressive voice talent for their forthcoming Marvel Comics titles, Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny, both of which will be playable at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego.
Spider-Man: Edge of Time will feature Val Kilmer as Walker Sloan, while Smallville and V stalwart Laura Vandervoort takes the role of Mary Jane Watson-Parker, and finally, Katee Sackhoff, AKA Lt. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace from Battlestar Galactica will be playing Black Cat.
Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Peter in Heroes will be be voicing playable mutant Grant Alexander, in X-Men Destiny, while Jamie Chung from Sucker Punch and The Hangover Part II will play Aimi Yoshida, who is also playable and Friday Night Lights star Scott Porter will voice third playable mutant Adrian Luca.
"These amazing casts of talented Hollywood actors help bring the rich storylines of Spider-Man: Edge of Time and X-Men Destiny to life," said Vicharin Vadakan, Director of Marketing for Activision Publishing. "Players this fall will get to control the destiny of their own mutants or save Spider-Man and through this voice talent feel like they are part of the action."
Beenox's Spider-Man: Edge of Time is out in autumn 2011 and Silicon Knights will be unleashing X-Men Destiny later in the year.
