Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade in September, remaking the sequel to the classic and hugely influential co-op arcade fighter in 3D. The original, Double Dragon II: The Revenge is the starting point, with a new 3D stylised look and all of the usual face-punching action with weapons such as knives, 2x4s, grenades and so on.
Being developed by Korean dev Barunson Interactive, best known for MMO Dragonica, Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons is a major revamp of the original, with new graphics and gameplay, and a story that supports 2-player co-op across its four long levels, as per the arcade version of Double Dragon II.
According to Co-Optimus - who also have a preview of the game - Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons is scheduled for release on the Xbox Live Arcade sometime in September 2011 for a reported price of 1200 Microsoft Points. Check out the trailer below for a look at the game.
