LOL This is completely random, not bad though I hope it is for free!Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:26 AM
I loved Arrested Development and those two actors, but NOTHING will make me buy Elite. It seems cool and all, but I don't care much for stats things like that. I just want to enjoy the game.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:28 AM
erm what???????????????Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:31 AM
i heard chris meloni(det. stabler from SVU) is in mw3.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:32 AM
Never heard of 'em before. Meh Elite just seems to get less and less interesting for me.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:33 AM
Oh wow, rev up those CoD:Elite subscriptions. Fail to see how this is any incentive, seeing as the footage will no doubt end up on youtube anyway, and that's even if you wanted to see it in the first place, which I don't.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:37 AM
Im in the beta - Apart from the group finding and community events(which are mainly highest kill count in TDM, or most captures, or uploading the best sticky kill - All which can be boosted and will be boosted by people just to win. This service in the beta offers nothing more in terms of what isn't already on the BO combat record. The premium service will prob offer full youtube upload - WHO CARESThursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:50 AM
More Arrested Development comedy, SWEEEEET! Even if it is part of the paid side, it will be on YouTube in a matter of moments of release.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:53 AM
Wow Elite is gonna fail so fast. I barely see anyone saying they're planning to do the paid version. I doubt that the benefits will be good enough to keep a good number of people paying, or at least enough to make worth running. I'm guessing by the end 2012 Elite will either be 100% free and lots of the benefits from paid will be gone (like discounted / free DLC) or it will be 100% gone.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 08:54 AM
There will be a section of the Elite website for subscribers only called the Banana Stand.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 09:24 AM
weirdest cross over i've read about today.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 09:34 AM
What the fuck.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 09:41 AM
i didnt understand what you were talking about, but i will give elite a try( as long as i dont have to pay) just to be sure its something i like.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 10:43 AM
yawnThursday, August 04, 2011 @ 10:53 AM
"Looks like your hunting dragons.........in the future."Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 11:03 AM
Sounds like a cool idea. Defo something different. hopefully this is variety we can look forward to from Elite service:-)Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 11:07 AM
It ain't easy being white... it ain't easy being brown! I'm very excited for the movie, I still watch episodes on netflix when I'm on the road. As for Call of Duty Elite, I'm not too sure about it, but yes it is more tempting now.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 11:38 AM
Love this show, their videos should be mimics of Arrested Development episodes. If they bring the cast of The Office to this, I will be subscribing to this service long after I lost feeling in my thumbs from Arthritis, lol.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 11:44 AM
I wish this show would've kept on going.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 11:53 AM
COD elite = = = = = = CRAPThursday, August 04, 2011 @ 11:57 AM
I loved Arrested Development and Jason Bateman is one of my favorite actors but nothing is going to make me give more money to Activision NO TOUCHING!Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 12:59 PM
" Illusions Michael, tricks are for whores. "Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 01:00 PM
They just finished showing a re-run of Arrested Development here on FX, the show is hands down one of THE greatest comedies ever.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 01:19 PM
Babe wait! Babe wait! BAAABE WAAAAIT! BAAAABE! BABE WAIT! etcThursday, August 04, 2011 @ 01:48 PM
Possibly greatest American sitcom since MASH - but Bateman was at his best in Teen Wolf Too - maybe his appearance on this will be even better than that!Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 01:57 PM
@14 Your basing this off of what? Your love for Activision and COD? And considering all the details of Elite have yet to be revealed, like pricing, what DLC you'll get, etc. It's hard to say this will fail. If anything, when you think about how popular COD is, the fact the beta had over 2 million people sign up for it in a pretty short period of time. It sounds like it's going to succeed.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 02:01 PM
I've made a huge mistake.........purchasing EliteThursday, August 04, 2011 @ 02:27 PM
Bateman and Arnett (who is also a big CoD fan) Should be (Who are also big CoD fans) That aside Arnett is fucking awesome.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 02:36 PM
Shoot people, and also watch Arrested Development. They go together like lamb and tuna fish.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 03:27 PM
I love arrested development but this news is not as good as the new zombie map pack coming out for black ops this month..Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 03:35 PM
Oohkaaay then. And what does arrested development have to do with cod? Maybe they tryin the red bs blue route?Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 03:35 PM
Arrested Development is shit, this makes me want to pay for Elite even less. Was never planning to pay it and never will.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 03:43 PM
Theres always money in the banana stand.Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 05:56 PM

Hands down the best comedy I've personally watched (and I watch tons of american series!) but I'm not even bothering with CoD any more. Youtube will be the way to watch these for me..Thursday, August 04, 2011 @ 09:49 PM
I LOVE ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!!! Just look at my gamertag lolThursday, August 04, 2011 @ 10:08 PM

loved will arnett in blades of glory. I just hope they dont try to make the whole elite thing a celeb gimmick.Friday, August 05, 2011 @ 07:16 AM
call of duty sucks!!Friday, August 05, 2011 @ 02:07 PM
Arrested development is awesome, and these guys are genuinely funny, but I honestly don't think many cod fans even watched or heard of the show (as evidenced by some of these comments).Friday, August 05, 2011 @ 02:58 PM
I could pay 5$ month(which will inevitably increase as more Cod games are anounced) to know my total KD between Black ops and MW3 wow thats sounds great .... or I could pull up the free calculator button on my computer for 12 seconds...Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:25 PM
Most COD fans weren't even born when Arrested Development first aired!!

If you're still on the fence about Activision's Call of Duty: Elite service, then perhaps the promise of content from Arrested Development stars Jason Bateman and Will Arnett might tempt you into at least being a bit more interested in the prospect.
Bateman and Arnett (who is also a big CoD fan) played squabbling brothers Michael and Gob Bluth in the genius sitcom, which is also spawning a spin-off movie. In Call of Duty: Elite, Bateman and Arnett will provide "original video programming" from their company DumbDumb Productions, which will be available to CoD: Elite members.
It's unclear whether the content will be part of the free service or included in the price of the premium Call of Duty: Elite subscription. Call of Duty: Elite will be coming to consoles everywhere in autumn 2011. Hopefully, we'll get to see more of Franklin too.
