As anyone who's played the first two Deus Ex games will tell you, it's not all just shooting. There's a lot of social interaction too, chatting to NPCs and taking on optional sidequests to earn additional XP and delve deeper into the intricate game world. The same is true of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which will see Adam Jensen giving his husky tones a workout on plenty of occasions.
As well as sidequests, there's 'social boss fights' to tackle too, as you attempt to convince a character to see things your way, by picking the option that you think will win them round to seeing reason. Some involve tense hostage situations, others will simply be straightforward wars of words.
Then there's the hacking mini-game too, which you'll need to master to break into numerous systems, whether it's computer terminals or the keypads to locked doors. It's all covered in this latest trailer looking at another of the four pillars of gameplay that you'll experience when Deus Ex: Human Revolution launches on August 23rd in North America and August 26th in Europe.
