:O Been waiting a long time for this!Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 11:47 AM
Definitely looking forward to this one. E3 demo looked awesome. Really reminded me of Mass Effect 2's Omega.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 11:53 AM
This game is gonna rock space-hard!Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 11:55 AM
looks great cant wait to play.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:03 PM
I'm really amazed how good the game looks as it's running on id Tech 4 instead of 5. The gameplay demo from E3 looked just as stunning as these screens, so we know they're not bullshots.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:03 PM
Seems like it will be good but bethesda has had some bad releases lately so ill wait till its out and the bugs are fixed before i get itMonday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:11 PM
I'm not sure how this is called Prey 2. Other than the name and a screenshot of a crashed plane it bears no resemblance to the original with it's gravity and spirit world gameplay. Still looks interesting though.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:26 PM
I wish they would release a screenshot of Tommy already, he is in the game and meant to be a huge part of the story, i hope he looks cool.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:26 PM
@7 That's what I'm wondering. Other than the name, how much of the original game is being used in this sequel? There's no doubt that graphically this game is looking amazing but part of what made Prey great was the puzzle aspect and gravity gameplay. Hopefully we see more of that soon.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:34 PM
@7 and 9: Gameplay wise they have stripped out a few things because they were unique to the sphere, however things from Prey 1 will still be included in Prey 2, the main big one is Tommy as he plays a part in the story, also the devs have said the Keepers will return in some form (not the sphere just the keepers).Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:34 PM
@7 guess you hadn't read any of the other previews on it? Same universe, different location and character. Anyway, I'm interested, not sure if it will be a day one for me but hopefully they release a playable demo.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 12:41 PM
This does look interesting, kinda like if Mass Effect and Splinter Cell had a FPS baby. At least that's the feel I got after reading about it OXM (a while back).Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 01:16 PM
Mass effect 2.5?Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 01:57 PM
This looks much better than 1 the first Prey was Medicore.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 02:53 PM
That dude with the purple flamethrower looks a lot like Galkas from Final Fantasy XI.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 02:58 PM
@#5 That's cause it's running on Dx12 on PC.... Still have no idea what this has to do with Prey other than actual beginning explaining how he got here. Might as well call it Prey's tales from a different box....Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 03:56 PM
let's hope it's better than the awful first gameMonday, August 08, 2011 @ 04:38 PM
This game looks alot like Mass Effect. Which is not a bad thing LOL.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 04:49 PM
pic 14 you see the earth, so where on a space station orbiting earth. wonder if we'll find the moon in a jar again, that made prey great.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 05:03 PM
@19, Thats not a space station lol, thats the Sphere, you can clearly see the crashed plane, are you sure you have even played Prey? lol. Prey 2 will start off on board the sphere as the plane crashes and you escape, the beginning will run parallel to Prey 1 story as Tommy witneses the plane crash. The game will then move forward to the planet where you wake up.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 05:23 PM
The first game was incredibly under-rated in my mind. Completely overlooked by many, but when I played it I was instantly hooked by the "Don't fear the Reaper" and the entire uniqueness to it. You're a Native American first off, not a typical white marine or armed forced soldier. And then the gravity and mind-altering effects just make it one of those must-play games. I compare it's "must-play" level to Bioshock 1.Monday, August 08, 2011 @ 07:58 PM
Does anyone want to boost some of the online achievements for prey? My gamertag is DborKnowsBestMonday, August 08, 2011 @ 08:29 PM

Is that a Krogan dressed up in the third picture?!Tuesday, August 09, 2011 @ 12:23 AM
Can't wait for this.Tuesday, August 09, 2011 @ 02:18 PM
I was at quakecon and got to see this played by one of the devs for about 30 minutes. I was skeptical, as I hadn't heard anything about Prey2, but I was pleasantly surprised. Game looks like a lot of fun. You are on the sphere briefly, but the bulk of the game takes place in an alien city. Looks to be extremely open world. Parkour style movement and solid gunplay are present, as well as a lot of cool gadgets, like hover boots and anti-gravity grenades. Looked like a real blast to play, with multiple paths for every situation, and an innovative style. I also liked that there seemed to be a good sense of humor involved. Looking forward to this one now.

As Sheriff Killian Samuels, you'll be hunting down and detaining all manner of extra-terrestrial scum in Prey 2, bringing them in via the magic of the teleportation calipers, as you scoop your bounty and make the universe a slightly safer place to live in.
Villainous aliens come in all shapes and sizes though, as these 14 new screenshots from QuakeCon 2011 show, with smaller ones giving way to hulking great huge ones. Just try slapping the teleportation calipers on them. We'd wager that it probably won't work too well.
You can check out the kind of otherworldy creatures you'll encounter in Prey 2 in the 14 screens in the gallery. Look out for Prey 2 in 2012.
