Indie developer SpikySnail has officially announced The Splatters today, bringing physics-based puzzling featuring smiling, semi-suicidal master acrobats that blow themselves up by slamming into walls, smashing into spikes and riding slides. You'll be able to chain together amazing combos to rack up massive scores, as you get creative to put on a splatter-filled show.
Microsoft will be on publishing SpikySnail's game on the Xbox Live Arcade when it launches in 2012. "We are thrilled to see Microsoft bring The Splatters to hardcore gamers worldwide," said SpikySnail co-founder, Sagi Koren. "Splatters is a challenging game that redefines the term replay value. We couldn't think of a better venue than XBLA for our creation."
The Splatters will be playable at PAX this year and will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade in 2012. Check out the first seven screens in the gallery and the debut trailer below.
